A Womans Fly Fishing Forum is not a region specific site, and want to highlight spectacular fly fishing water to choose from. The overall goal is to bring women who fly fish together to talk with each other and perhaps one day meet along the way. Most women, learn differently than men and have a lot to offer others about fly fishing or fishing in general. We do not sell anything on the web site, the services of those listed within, have been referred to us, by fishing friends met through the years. We do have sponsors, and partners in fishing. Please be sure to visit the entire site and use the resources and archive properties. We have a great resource of guides and fly shops. Peruse the Calendar of Events and if you have a specific event you think other women need to know about, your club meeting dates, big events, shows and great trips that are coming up, please feel free to post them. This site is growing everyday and evolving so speak up if it isn't offering what you might want to see.

If you have one you think should be presented here, send the photo in and it will be scheduled to appear. I am trying to put up patterns that will apply for the time / season we are in or going into. Included are widley used and tied patterns. Please upload your fly photos and if you need help with that let me know. Gray 1720 - When you get to the point you want to try your hand at the art of tying flies, there are many resources today to turn to. Some lady anglers have begun to write very good do it your self books on this subject. Look to your local fly shops to assist you with classes, generally in the off season. Remember, they are here to help you with your learning curve and where to fish- so go see them, but make sure you support the shop as well. Ask them about the classes and other items you will need to get started. But it is never too late to start. I started tying a lot streamside, it is when the mood strikes me the most often. Sisters on the fly! WHOA! Cowgirls Are Fun! If you are looking to join a really great bunch of women, and have a ton of fun, then this is the place for you to look for good old fashioned fun. Their activities include: Outdoor adventures with trailer caravan's, fly fishing and horseback riding. Vintage trailer sales, restoration, customization and registry. These ladies have it happeing. They are more fun than anyone-so they say - and check out this website, it looks like it. They travel with their vintage trailers and fly fish as they travel across the country and meet a lot of really great ladies having fun. You can join them on any one of their many trips each year. You don' t have to own a trailer or a horse to belong to the group. You go ladies.   FALL and WINTER ACTION - Where can you get in on it? YOUR FLY SHOP Get in on it. Fly Shops are offering casting classes now at most shops. Visit the following link to go to the fly shop nearest you. Fly Shops Have you wanted to learn how to tie, well now is a great time to give it a try, because you will be more inclined to fish with what you have tied up now, and what gratification. Catch a fish on something you created, and fool the fish. Many new products are out there this year for the fly tyer too. So go check it out. Simply put- GO FISH!!!!! You may not know what you're missing as we ramp up for the seasons best fishing and outdoor recreation. If your local area fly shop has events every month get them to list them in the forum on the calendar, or you can too, we would love to have them posted. Many clubs and organizations are getting primed for the summer outings and meetings and have events they are hosting, let them know about the site and we will be happy to have them on the calendar.
